20.1 weeks....Christmas Day
20.1 weeks....Christmas Day
21 weeks...my favorite so far. He is really popping out now!
Well, I had my monthly Dr. appointment with Walker last Wednesday. Baby J's heart beat was at 140 bpm. So far I have gained 3 pounds my first Dr. visit, 1 pound at the next, and 2.5 at last weeks visit. For a grand total of 6.5 pounds so far. Walker says that I am doing very well and she expects me to gain about a pound a week from here on out. (ahhh!) Right after my Dr. visit....I went to the Arlington Perinatal place and they did another sono to check out his heart and the 4 chambers. This time for the sono Dad, Kev, Aunt Debbie, and Macey came along. I really liked having them there. It still facinates me to see him move around. During the sono he even gave what looked like a smile and stuck out his tongue! :-) Baby J now weighs right at a pound (that is crazy!) and is kicking like crazy at certain times of the day. One of those times is right when I am trying to go to sleep around 10:00 at night. (That little stinker!) Speaking of night time....it sure is getting harder to sleep....and...I have a feeling it is just going to get harder from here. I am no longer allowed to sleep on my back (which is my favorite position) so that is taking some adjusting. David is so sweet....in the middle of the night when he wakes and sees that I am on my back, he gently wakes me up and has me roll over on my side. He's such a caring daddy already! :-)
We still have not picked out a name for sure, but our number one name right now is Griffin. I really like it and this is the first name that David hasn't changed his mind about. We could call him "Griff" or "G" and I think they all sound cute!
I interviewed my first at home day care person last week, and her name is Kim Bihm. I really liked her, but the only downfall was that she has 3 cats and 2 dogs. Not a big fan of that. Besides that, there were many positives about her along with a couple other minor negatives. I have my next interview this Wednesday at 5:45 with a lady named Donna Brown (that is crazy since it is my Nana's name!) She comes HIGHLY recommended by about 4-5 people....but of course she is more expensive. This is such a major decision because whoever we choose will be taking care of our pride and JOY and that is so very important! All of this brings back the wonderful memories I have of the sweet lady named Pearlene who watched me when I was younger.
I think that is about all as far as updates right now.... I will post more pics as I continue to POP out! :-)
Love this...SO blessed...and can't wait to be a mommy!
