Ice, sleet, snow....and more ice!!!
Well, the forecast called for ice and snow...but considering Texas weather is so unpredictable, none of us really believed it.
HOWEVER....the forecast proved to be correct because the ice ended up being so bad on the roads that school was called off Tuesday-Friday February 1st-4th! Yes, that is right....we had an official 4 days off of school...it was a "winter break" after our "holiday break" and before "spring break."
As you can tell by the following picture, Lydia was very excited
about getting to miss school on Tuesday. Little did she know....the rest of the week would be called off too!

The following pictures are us having fun in the snow as a family. The kiddos attempted to make a snowman, but they weren't very successful. So they decided to play football, make snow angels, draw in the snow, and sled down the hill on the side of our house. Such fun family time!! Well, enjoy the pictures....today is SUPER BOWL SUNDAY and we are having people over to our house (the count is up to about 25 including kids) So......... I need to go and prepare!!!!!!
